The Chapel at The Waters, a unique event destination!
Built in 2007, The Chapel at The Waters is too young to be on the Registry of Historic Places, but with its graceful proportions, iconic steeple and turn of the century charm, it certainly looks the part. In the past six years, The Chapel has quietly become the most unique and exclusive wedding destination in Alabama's River Region. Designed to accommodate a bride's vision for her wedding day, whether Southern traditional, fresh and distinctive or ethereal fairy tale, The Chapel's light-filled simplicity offers a serene space that can lay the groundwork for whatever the bride can imagine. Use of The Chapel includes a room designated as changing space for the bride and her attendants, the availability of a sound system, seating for up to 240 guests, and wedding bell chimes in the steeple ready to announce the couple's marriage. Also, there is plenty of space across from The Chapel for creating a convenient and beautiful venue for a reception. For some, an open-air wedding in the pasture and The Chapel hold the reception. Choices.
The Chapel at The Waters
The Chapel is the focal point of The Waters community, situated on a hill overlooking a 200 acre lake and an appealing neighborhood designed to reference turn of the century architecture. The beauty of the area in its rural setting has made it a go-to location for professional photographers from all over central Alabama. It's a rare spring or fall day that a photo shoot is not taking place somewhere in The Waters. This is truly an enchanting and beautiful back drop for making wedding day memories.
